Gadsden State to celebrate Homecoming 2024 “Feels Like Home”
Gadsden, Ala.— Gadsden State Community College's Student Life, Student Government Association, faculty, staff and students will begin the Homecoming 2024 celebration "Feels Like Home" with Spirit Week events Feb. 5-8. A Spirit Week parade will be held each day at the Cardinal Café beginning at noon for those dressed in the daily theme. Parade participants dressed in the daily theme attire will be entered in daily drawings for prizes.
Homecoming will be celebrated Feb. 12 as the Cardinals face the Lawson State Cougars. Everyone is invited to join the celebration and show their Cardinal spirit. The Tailgate Party begins at 3 p.m. at Beck Conference Center with games, hot dogs, nachos, drinks and other refreshments. The Lady Cardinals will face the Lady Cougars of Lawson State Community College at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game set to begin at 7:30 p.m. The homecoming court and crowning of the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen will take place during halftime of the Lady Cardinals game. All events will be on the Wallace Drive Campus.
